Meet the Teams
This team of 2027-2029 grads is led by Coach Mel Frank, who is also the head softball coach at West Potomac High School, and Assistant Coach Justine Frank, both of whom have extensive playing experience.
The core of this group won a World Series Championship as a 14U team under Coach Josh White before playing two competitve seasons as a 16U Impact team. They move to an 18U team this year to continue preparations to play in college.
After strong seasons with the Arlington Sage program, Coach Nikki White's team moves to the Impact organization as the 2029-2030 players begin to train and develop to play softball at the highest levels of competition.
Our History
Coach Doug Kaufman founded the organization to provide the development and infrastructure for young women to pursue their dream of playing college softball.
He has developed two teams from 9U players into nationally ranked 18UA teams.
Dozens of Impact players have gone on to play and excel in college, on teams at every level, from D1 to D3.

We believe in empowering our players to be quick thinkers and decision makers who value success through good sportsmanship, determination, dedication and hard work. We want our players to make an IMPACT on and off the field.
